 Kushal Pal Singh Bharat is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of 'DLF India'. Kushal Pal Singh on India's richest real estate developer K.P. Kushal Pal Singh was born on 15 August 1931 in a Jat family of Bulandshahr. K P Singh founded India's largest realty company. DLF is today the largest realty company in the world in terms of sales, revenue and capital.

Singh graduated in science from Meerut College and received aeronautical education from England. Later he was elected an officer in the Indian Army. Here he joined the famous equestrian detachment 'The Deccan Horse'. Joined American Electric Company in 1960 and became Managing Director of the combined company in 1979 after merging with DLF.

KP Singh left the army job and joined the real estate business of his father-in-law Chaudhary Raghavendra Singh, who was the founder of DLF. In 1960, he joined the American Universal Electric Company, a joint venture between Universal Electric Company, Owoso (Michigan) and the Singh family. After this he established another company named 'Willard India Limited' in collaboration with 'ESB Inc' of Philadelphia to manufacture industrial batteries in India and became its Managing Director. In the year 1979, American Universal Electric Company merged with 'DLF Universal Limited' and K.P. Singh became the Managing Director of the new company.

They started seeing a bright future in the real estate industry of Gurgaon, which resulted in a tremendous boom in this sector. With time, his dream started taking shape and the concepts started taking shape. Gurgaon has been recognized as one of the leading real estate market and business center of India. Which today is often known as the 'Millennium City'. KP Singh's son Rajeev and Piya are engaged with him in his real estate business.
